Family Therapy

Our Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Families supports family members in creating stronger emotional bonds, fostering understanding, and improving communication. When family members feel disconnected or misunderstood, it can cause stress, tension, and conflict. Through EFT, we help families reconnect, resolve conflict, and strengthen emotional safety for all members.

How it works

Step 1: Understanding Family Dynamics

We’ll begin by exploring the current challenges within your family. Each family member will have the opportunity to express their perspective on the family dynamic, including both the struggles and the existing strengths. This allows everyone to feel seen and heard while we begin to identify the sources of tension and disconnection.

Step 2: Identifying Family Patterns

Once we have a clear understanding of your family’s current struggles, we identify the patterns that play out between family members. We’ll look at how each member’s behaviors and emotional responses influence the group dynamic. Together, we’ll work to identify the underlying attachment needs and emotional responses that contribute to family conflict.

Step 3: Building Stronger Family Bonds

The final step is about reinforcing positive changes and creating a secure, supportive family environment. By this point, family members will have developed stronger emotional connections, healthier communication, and the ability to respond to one another’s emotional needs with empathy and care.
